Since 5 July 2026, severe floods and landslides have affected 1.7 million people across 12 districts in Bangladesh, leaving families in urgent need of help. At least 56 people have lost their lives and approximately 36,000 people have been displaced. Roads, transport links and communications have been severely damaged, while homes and livelihoods have been destroyed. Families urgently need food, clean water, shelter and essential supplies. The Prophet ﷺ said: “Whoever fulfilled the needs of his brother, Allah will fulfil his needs.” [Sahih al-Bukhari 2442] This is our opportunity to support our brothers and sisters during this emergency.
